I'm using the flat app native base theme and I don't think there is any example on this. I have a parent page called A. From A I have a couple of links to child pages B, C, and D. In each of these child pages, I want to get some input from the user, and then set that value on the parent page to a state variable. So I want to navigate from A to B, then come back to A with a new value on a variable set. Then repeat the same for B, C, and D. It looks like I should use 'popRoute(passProps)' method in order to pass the input values from the child pages to the parent page A. However, it doesn't work.
I did the same thing with 'replaceRoute(route, passProps)' and it works. How can I get 'popRoute(passProps)' work in this scenario?
Also, do you think the above approach is valid for such a scenario? Or should I be using modals instead of going back and forth to other child pages? If that's the case, then the parent page will be huge.
